Square Enix announced Visions of Mana, a new entry in the Mana game series, at The Game Awards 2023. The Mana series, known in Japan as Seiken Densetsu, began with what is known in the U.S. as Final Fantasy Adventure. However, it was Secret of Mana on the SNES that truly popularized the series in North America. More recently, a Secret of Mana remake was released in 2018, along with a Trials of Mana remake in 2020.

Visions of Mana marks the first mainline entry in the Mana series in over 15 years. In it, players will embark on a new adventure with Val, the newly appointed soul guard who is setting off on a journey to accompany his friend on her pilgrimage to the Tree of Mana. This action RPG is set in a vibrant, semi-open 3D world and is slated for a 2024 release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
