The Last of Us Left Behind single-player DLC will be released on February 14, 2014 which means that we’ll be getting a barrage of information in the coming days. Sony has released two videos promoting Left Behind, revealing the opening cinematic to the DLC along with a behind-the-scenes interview on the cinematic.
The Last of Us Left Behind will take a look at Ellie before she became infected and the video reveals that she was receiving military training to kill Fireflies. It also introduces us to her friend Riley, who could turn out to be Marlene’s daughter. According to Naughty Dog, Left Behind will introduce new combat mechanics, including the ability to force clickers and human enemies against one another.
