Is your body ready? The last of the press conferences before E3 2014’s doors officially opens is now upon us. Yesterday, Microsoft and Sony traded blows with huge reveals and exclusives, and now it’s Nintendo’s turn to try to turn things around with its struggling Wii U console. Coming off hot sales of Mario Kart 8, can Nintendo continue gaining momentum with a strong showing at E3? Earlier, TIME.com leaked its interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, revealing that a Star Fox game is in development on the Wii U along with two experimental games that take advantage of the Wii U’s GamePad. Would a Star Fox title on the Wii U be impressive enough for fans to grab themselves Nintendo’s console? Maybe, but a Zelda or Metroid announcement for the Wii U definitely would – or even better, a high-definition Pokemon experience that takes advantage of the Wii U GamePad. Now that, that would sell a few million consoles.
