Apparently 2013 has already had too many amazing game releases with The Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V and Bioshock Infinite to name a few. Now, Watch Dogs won’t be contending for 2013 Game of the Year as Ubisoft has decided to delay it until spring 2014 so that the team can “take the extra time to polish and fine tune each detail.”
Watch Dogs was originally going to be released as a launch title for both the next-generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and was also heading to the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U by November 19, 2013. As a result now, Watch Dogs no longer has a definitive release date except for sometime in next spring.
Those that pre ordered a Watch Dogs system bundle will have their spot in line reserved and will either receive just the system or the chance to opt for another launch game, depending on which retail outlet you pre ordered from.
