Stunlock Studios has announced a collaboration with Konami Digital Entertainment to introduce Legacy of Castlevania to V Rising on May 8. This update will enable players to face off against Simon Belmont, who wields his legendary Vampire Killer and an array of holy weapons. Those who manage to defeat him will unlock a fittingly new weapon, the whip. The addition of Simon Belmont to the game will be available to all players, but there will also be a Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack cosmetic DLC for those who want to decorate their castles with a classic Castlevania aesthetic. The DLC pack also includes a new skeletal mount and two classic musical themes reimagined by V Rising composer Aleksandria Migova.

May 8 also marks the official release of V Rising, as it exits Early Access. One of the most complete games we’ve encountered during Early Access, V Rising combines crafting, survival, and base building with excellent combat and progression systems, alongside challenging bosses. It’s a truly fun experience, especially if you have other vampires joining you in the adventure. The full release will introduce a new endgame zone named The Ruins of Mortium, a concluding chapter, dynamic endgame events, fresh V Blood bosses, a new breed of foe, additional weapons, a new tier of equipment, enhanced magic, and much more.
