Blizzard has revealed some Hearthstone changes that are incoming, including the previously mentioned balance changes to Unleash the Hounds and Mind Control. Unleash the Hounds has been reworked to a four mana cost card that will summon a 1/1 Hound with Charge for each enemy minion on the board. As was revealed during BlizzCon 2013, Mind Control will now be a 10 mana cost card rather than eight.

Other card changes include Starving Buzzard becoming a 2/1 instead of a 2/2, while the Warlock’s Flame Imp will now deal three damage for its Battlecry, up from two. Both the Shattered Sun Cleric and Argent Commander will be losing one health so that they’re 3/2 and 4/2, respectively.

In addition, the upcoming Hearthstone changes will implement a daily gold cap of 100 that can be earned through Play mode wins. The gold cap does not affect gold earned through Quests, Arena or Achievements. It appears that there are botters out there that are already earning gold.

Blizzard hopes to launch Hearthstone’s open beta sometime this month.
