Titan Quest II, which entered Early Access on August 1, 2025, has announced its next major content update. Set to go live on September 30, the update will introduce a brand-new chapter called the Northern Beaches. Along with expanding Titan Quest II’s world, the new version brings more combat variety, environmental storytelling, and strategic depth. As players continue their campaign against the Ichthians, they’ll push toward the King of Tides’ stronghold. If you’ve been playing since Early Access, expect new locations, enemies, three bosses, new skills for every mastery, and plenty of secrets to find.

The teams at THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games have shared a gameplay deep-dive video on the Northern Beaches, giving us a preview of the Bruisers and commanders we’ll be fighting. Some of the new skills include the Frostbite tree, an updated Stone Form that now allows channeled skills while active, and the new Warfare skill Valor, which calls down the Sword of Damocles for damage buffs.

Titan Quest II is the highly anticipated sequel to Titan Quest, which originally launched in June 2006. That game, however, was developed by Iron Lore Entertainment, which shut down in February 2008. The general reception to Titan Quest II’s Early Access has been positive, with the game currently holding a “Very Positive” rating based on 5,069 Steam user reviews at the time of writing.
