Ubisoft recently delayed Assassin’s Creed Shadows, partly due to Star Wars Outlaws underperforming. The team has now shared an updated roadmap as it continues to address player feedback while delivering new content. Leading up to its first story pack release on November 21, players can expect two title updates. The first update will be released on October 3, focusing on bug fixes and improvements, while the second will focus on quality of life enhancements. The game will pause major updates until November 21, when improvements to combat and stealth will be introduced, along with the release of Wild Card. Players without the DLC will receive free additional contracts as part of the new content.
In my review of Star Wars Outlaws, I found the game disappointing, particularly its main gameplay loop. The stealth and combat were not very engaging, and it’s unfortunate that players will have to wait until November 21 for these issues to be addressed. It did a great job immersing players in a Star Wars world that felt alive, but ultimately, it wasn’t a very fun experience for me.
