The Sims 4 has officially been announced by EA, and the developer has released a gameplay trailer showcasing the new features for the fourth installment of the popular Sims franchise. Over its history, The Sims has sold over 150-million copies worldwide, and the newest game will give players a deeper connection with their Sims while encouraging players to personalize their world with new and intuitive tools. Watch the first gameplay trailer of The Sims 4 below, which shows off the game’s new emotions, tools, and of course, Sims.

The Sims 4 will head to PC and Mac early next year.
