Last week, developer Evil Empire announced that it would delay The Rogue Prince of Persia’s Early Access launch due to Hades II’s popularity. The game will now enter Early Access on May 27 priced at $19.99 USD. “Not too far away, but it will let people finish up playing Hades 2 and the other great games that came out last week (and the ones which are coming out this week ^^’), and we’ll keep adding polish for our own release too,” said Evil Empire in a post on the game’s Steam page. “If Silksong shadow drops in the next two weeks I’m burning the whole thing down!” it added. Silksong refers to Hollow Knight: Silksong, a highly-anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight that is starting to feel like a myth.

Along with announcing the new Early Access release date, Evil Empire shared a full gameplay trailer featuring the game’s theme song, made by Asadi, who is a specialist in Persian trap music. Asadi is also behind the entire soundtrack of the game, which blends ancient tones with modern rhythms. You can also expect a slight discount at launch.
