Naughty Dog is getting ready to announce the first single-player DLC for The Last of Us, and in celebration of what the team is calling #OutbreakDay, a video has been released revealing the alternate ending to The Last of Us. Today is the day that the Cordyceps outbreak hit critical mass in The Last of Us.
The alternate ending video was previously seen only by those who attended Naughty Dog’s PAX Prime panel and should not be watched unless you’ve already completed The Last of Us or don’t care about spoilers. What makes The Last of Us alternate ending so interesting is that it was completely improvised by the actors of the game.
