If you followed professional Hearthstone in its early years, you may recognize Andrey “Reynad” Yanyuk. He eventually founded Tempo Storm, before going on to announce his new card game, The Bazaar, in 2018. Fast forward to today, and The Bazaar has officially launched its Closed Beta, evolving into much more than just a card game. It combines elements of an auto-battler, roguelike, and hero builder. After a few hours in the Closed Beta, we’re really enjoying what we’ve seen so far.
The Bazaar is a bit challenging to explain, and even videos don’t quite capture its depth. The game is simple to learn, but the variety of builds feels nearly infinite. It’s packed with well-designed heroes, items, weapons, and skills; we’ve barely scratched the surface. If you enjoy games like Hearthstone Battlegrounds, Teamfight Tactics, Slay the Spire, or Gwent, you’ll likely enjoy what The Bazaar has to offer. We’ll publish a detailed First Impressions piece early next week, with a full review planned for the game’s worldwide release in early 2025.
To check it out, simply purchase any of the Founder’s Packs for access to the Closed Beta. The entry-level pack costs $33 and includes 2,000 gems, the Grand Founder title, a Founder Vanessa skin, and an extra Closed Beta access key for a friend.
