If you haven’t heard of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, it was announced in July 2025 as a new HD-2D adventure starring Elliot and his fairy companion, Faie. Together, they set off a journey to explore a vast world across four ages, filled with enemies, hidden caves, and ancient ruins. Armed with seven weapon types, from swords to chains and sickles, players can further customize combat through Magicite. Meanwhile, Faie’s powerful Magic can be used in and out of battle to aid Elliot on his adventures.

Following the game’s debut, Square Enix released a demo for Switch 2. The final release will include several changes based on feedback from that demo, including faster movement speed for Elliot, refinements to the weapon shortcut menu, and additional difficulty options.
