Terraria, the popular 2D exploration game which was released on iOS late last month, is now available on Android devices for $4.99. If you’re unsure if Terraria is the right game for you, there’s also a free demo for you to check out.

Terraria is developed by independent game studio Re-Logic and was previously available on PC via Steam, Xbox Live, and PlayStation Network. The game features exploration, crafting, construction, and combat while filled with a variety of creatures in a randomly generated 2D world. The game features over 200 crafting recipes, over 25 block types to build anything you can imagine, over 75 monsters, and five bosses. There are dynamic day and night cycles, and over 10 NPCs you can meet and recruit to your home.

Terraria on Android also has Google Play Game Services leaderboards and achievements support.

It was originally release for PC on May 16, 2011 before making its way to consoles in March 2013.
