Nacon Studio Milan has announced that Terminator: Survivors has been delayed to 2025. The survival open-world game, set in James Cameron’s Terminator universe, takes place four years after Judgment Day. Skynet’s machines continue to hunt for the remainder of humankind and players must discover key materials and survivors to advance their home base as they work to discover the truth behind the bombs, Skynet, and the Terminator threat. The game features an unexplored storyline and can be played solo or with up to three other players.
The game was originally slated to launch on October 24, 2024, but publisher Nacon announced on social media that its release has been pushed to 2025. No release date or window was revealed. The reason for the delay is standard: to deliver a game that meets players’ expectations.
Dear Survivors,
We are working very hard to bring the post-apocalyptic world of Terminator™ to life. Our goal is to create a deep immersive experience where each decision you make is crucial to your surviving.
Over the past few months, we’ve been really impressed by your enthusiasm and amazed by the response to our announcements, and we know how eagerly fans are awaiting Terminator: Survivors. To realize our vision, and to make sure to deliver the game that fits your expectations, we need some additional time. Thus, we will be pushing the launch to 2025.
We know that this will be a disappointment to many, but we want to do right by this universe, its fans, and our community. In the long term we believe this is the right call.
We are grateful for your understanding and support.
We’ll be back.
