Techland has released a video showcasing 15 minutes of gameplay for the upcoming Dying Light story-based expansion called The Following. Coupled with commentary from some of the Dying Light team, the gameplay footage focuses on “The Trust is Out There” quest chain that showcases some of the new core features for the expansion, including a massive new map, driveable and upgradeable dirt buggies and new types of ranged weapons.

Dying Light: The Following will have players heading to a hazardous outback run by mysterious and fanatical cultists, whose beliefs have unnerving connections with the Harran zombie outbreak. The story-based expansion will be available standalone for $14.99 while all Season Pass holders will get it for free.

Dying Light was originally released on January 27, 2015 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems and the expansion is looking more and more like a completely different game. We greatly enjoyed our experience though the game and look forward to checking out what the expansion has in store.
