Last week, Minecraft announced a collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and now it’s Street Fighter 6’s turn to do the same. At Evo 2023, Capcom revealed that Street Fighter 6 players will be able to style their custom avatars with new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gear and emotes, starting on August 8. Players will also get access to fun new Titles, send Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stamps to chat, customize their in-game mobile wallpaper and frames, as well as transform their World Tour and Battle Hub custom avatar into their favorite Turtle.
Along with the collaboration announcement, Capcom debuted the mysterious A.K.I., who will soon be the 20th playable Street Fighter 6 character. The debut showcased the first in-game cinematic footage of the new character in the single-player World Tour mode.
In our review of Street Fighter 6, we called it the Monster Hunter World for the franchise, because we believe it has significantly lowered the barrier to entry for fighting games. The addition of Modern controls and a very robust single-player World Tour mode makes Street Fighter 6 more accessible than ever.
