In honor of back-to-school month, StarCraft II and its expansion is on sale, Blizzard has announced. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is available for 50 percent off ($19.99) while the expansion, Heart of the Swarm gets a 25-percent discount ($29.99). In addition, from September 23-30, new and existing players will benefit from new rewards and bonuses.

For the next week, there’s a new Feat of Strength achievement, “You Got Schooled” that will reward players with three new portraits: Cheerleader Kerrigan, Geek Raynor and Professor Zeratul. In order to unlock the achievement, players will have to win five StarCraft II games in any combination of Arcade, Custom, Ranked, Training, Unranked or Versus A.I. game modes. Once the achievement is unlocked, all three portraits will be available on your character profile immediately.

StarCraft II will also be offering double the XP gained while you play until September 30. Lastly, Starter Edition players will be able to try out all three races until the end of the month.
