Splatoon 3 is going to celebrate its second birthday with the biggest Splatfest event the game has seen, from September 12 at 5:00 pm Pacific (8:00 pm Eastern) to September 15 at 5:00 pm Pacific (8:00 pm Eastern). The 72-hour festival of music, called Grand Festival, will feature all three idol groups: Deep Cut, Squid Sisters, and Off the Hook, performing during the event. For this massive Splatfest, players will have to choose what’s most important to them: the past, the present, or the future.

These two new amiibo sets will be available on September 5

Nintendo has also announced new amiibo figures featuring the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook as they appear in the Splatoon 3 story mode and the paid DLC Side Order. These amiibo sets will be released on September 5, but preorders are now available. There will also be limited edition event-themed T-shirts and My Nintendo wristbands, but those won’t be revealed until closer to September.
