South Park: The Stick of Truth has been delayed yet again, this time to March 4, 2014 in North America and March 6, 2014 in Europe. Let’s hope this is the last time Obsidian Entertainment delays the game. Originally announced in December 2011 and set to be published by THQ, South Park: The Stick of Truth was saw its original release window moved when THQ shut down. Ubisoft then stepped in to pick up the publishing writes, and earlier this year, announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth would be released on December 10, 2013.

Perhaps game delays are going to become a thing of the norm now, especially with major titles such as Watch Dogs and Driveclub getting delayed as well. Seems like Blizzard Entertainment has been doing the right thing all long with its trademark “Coming Soon” and “It’s ready when it’s ready” mantra. Let’s just hope the game isn’t a complete bust when it’s finally released.

“We always wanted the game to feel like you’re actually in an episode of South Park,” Ubisoft posted in a blog attributed to South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker. “Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we’re excited to say it’s taken way longer than we thought it would.”
