SEGA has announced its first game developed in collaboration with Rovio, a company it acquired last year. It’s called Sonic Rumble, described as a 32-person mobile royale set in a cheery toy world created by Dr. Eggman. According to the game’s press release, players will control toy figures and compete in battle royale challenges, racing to collect the most rings. It resembles Fall Guys, but with a focus on speed.
Featuring iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, players can create and customize their own unique avatars. This is a mobile game, and it will be the first title released jointly by SEGA and Rovio. It is set to launch this winter, but you can currently apply for the game’s beta test.
