Today is officially PlayStation’s 30th birthday in North America, and earlier, Circana shared two lists of the best-selling PlayStation titles of all time in the U.S. Continuing with its 30th anniversary celebration, Sony is asking PlayStation fans to share their memories with the brand. From now through September 23, 2025, players can share pictures or videos of their memories with PlayStation, from unboxing a console to holding a favorite controller or a PlayStation-exclusive title.

Sony is asking fans to share those photos on X or Instagram using the hashtag #PlayStation30Memories, and to make sure to provide their name, where they’re from, and the story behind their memory. At the end of the submission window, PlayStation will select memories to be included in a 30th anniversary highlight reel, celebrating 30 years of PlayStation with its fans.

It doesn’t sound like the winners will receive anything, but Sony could have a surprise in store.
