Another first-party Xbox Game Studios title is heading to PlayStation 5: Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II launches this summer. Developed by Ninja Theory, the original Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was released on PlayStation 4 in 2017. It wasn’t until June 2018 that Microsoft and Xbox acquired the studio, causing the sequel to launch as an Xbox console exclusive. Now that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is celebrating its first birthday, Ninja Theory has announced an enhanced version of the game, which will also be a free update for players on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Unfortunately, the developer didn’t elaborate on what the additional features will entail, so we’ll have to wait for more information. Ninja Theory has been working to fully optimize the title for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro over the past few months.
