Arguably one of the best amusement park simulation games, RollerCoaster Tycoon is coming to Nintendo Switch as RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic. Originally released in 1999 on PC, RollerCoaster Tycoon spawned a franchise with numerous sequels and spinoff games. For many enthusiasts, the original is still considered the best after all these years. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic for the Switch will feature an updated UI and controls when it launches on December 5.
The game combines the best features of RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, offering 95 scenarios. Players can create both outrageous and functional roller coasters and rides, as well as landscape and manage an amusement park simulation. This version of the game has been available on PC since 2017 and is also accessible on Android and iOS devices. It will be priced at $24.99 on the Switch.
