From the developers behind Control and the Alan Wake franchise comes FBC: Firebreak, a co-op, first-person shooter launching on June 17, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The standard edition will cost $39.99 USD / €39.99 / £32.99, while a Deluxe Edition will be available for $49.99 USD / €49.99 / £39.99. For those who haven’t heard of FBC: Firebreak, it was first revealed at the Xbox Partner Preview in October 2024. The game is a multiplayer PvE title that’s a spin-off from Control—FBC stands for Federal Bureau of Control—and is Remedy Entertainment’s first multiplayer game. It will also be available on Game Pass on day one.

The three-player cooperative FPS has players surviving and taming raging paranatural crises across a variety of locations. Each run features an assortment of tools and skills that make each build unique. Players will get to select their weapon and customize their Firebreaker’s Crisis Kit with specialized tools, grenades, support items, and paranatural augments. It’s essentially Remedy’s spin on horde-shooter games like Left 4 Dead, World War Z, and Killing Floor.
