It has been over 13 years since the release of the original Alan Wake. Finally, fans will be able to return to the world with Alan Wake 2, set to release on October 27. The sequel picks up the writer’s story 13 years after the original game, and the recap video takes a look back at the events that led to Alan Wake becoming trapped in the Dark Place. If you don’t have time to replay the original, the recap video is a great way to refresh your memory after all these years. The video also gives us a look at how the small town of Bright Falls first fell to supernatural influences.

But Alan Wake won’t be alone in this new adventure. Joining him in the sequel is Saga Anderson, an accomplished FBI agent with a reputation for solving impossible cases. Players will split playtime between Anderson and Wake as they try to unravel the mystery in Bright Falls. Find out how it all plays out when Alan Wake 2 releases. The game will be available on October 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
