Rockstar Games has announced the original Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare are finally going to be available on PC starting on October 29. This version of the game was developed in collaboration with Double Eleven and includes PC-specific enhancements such as native 4K resolution at up to 144Hz, support for Ultrawide and Super Ultrawide monitors, HDR10, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. The game and its zombie-horror companion story will support NVIDIA DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.0, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.

Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare will be available on the Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store when they launch later this month. The games are already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

Red Dead Redemption was originally released in May 2010, followed by its sequel in 2018. Both titles come from Rockstar Games, the same developers behind the wildly successful Grand Theft Auto Series. Grand Theft Auto VI is currently in development and scheduled to release sometime in 2025.
