Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for September 2025, with all three titles playable starting September 2. First up is Psychonauts 2 on PlayStation 4, a platform-adventure game from Double Fine, now an Xbox first-party studio. The long-awaited sequel reconnects players with Razputin “Raz” Aquato, a trained acrobat and young psychic who has joined the psychic espionage organization known as the Psychonauts. The game features quirky missions and mysterious conspiracies that deliver danger, excitement, and laughs throughout.
The next game needs no introduction: Stardew Valley on PlayStation 4. This cozy farming game helped popularize the genre as we know it today. If you somehow don’t own a copy or haven’t played it, here’s your chance to see what the hype is about.
The third title is Viewfinder on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, a first-person puzzle-adventure in which players use an instant camera to challenge perception, redefine reality, and reshape the world. It’s a pretty unique experience from Sad Owl Studios that had its share of the streaming spotlight when it launched in 2023.
Since these three games go live September 2, players have until September 1 to add August 2025’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games (Lies of P, DayZ, My Hero One’s Justice 2) to their library.
