PlayStation Plus is ringing in the New Year by sharing the monthly games for January 2026. These three titles will be available to PlayStation Plus members from January 6 until February 2, and it’s quite the varied lineup. Kicking things off is Need for Speed Unbound on PlayStation 5, the latest and quite possibly last entry in the Need for Speed franchise for a while. This 2022 title comes from Criterion Games and offers both single and multiplayer campaigns. It’s still unclear what EA plans to do with the Need for Speed franchise, since Criterion Games has been helping out on the Battlefield team.
The next game for January 2026 is Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Join Mickey Mouse as he sets off on an adventure through Wasteland, a realm of forgotten Disney characters. It’s a remake of the classic 3D platformer in which Mickey uses paint and thinner to shape the world and uncover hidden secrets. The game features all sorts of iconic characters, including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and levels inspired by animated Disney films and shorts.
Lastly, there’s Core Keeper on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, a game we have enjoyed as a group through its Early Access on PC. It’s a mining sandbox adventure game that supports up to eight players as you set up a build, harvest relics and resources, craft tools, and more. The game plays like a top-down Terraria and is packed full of content.
As a reminder, you have until January 5 to add December’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games (LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo of Ada, and Neon White) to your library before they’re gone.
