The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for September 2025 has been announced, and, as usual, there’s an eclectic mix of games to look forward to when they are added on September 16. Headlining this month’s lineup is WWE 2K25 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, featuring The Bloodline’s Dynasty, a new 2K Showcase celebrating one of the most historic family dynasties in wrestling. WWE 2K25 also introduces intergender wrestling and brings back chain wrestling, along with Underground and Bloodline Rules match types, barricade diving, and more.

If you’re not a wrestling fan, though, WWE 2K25 likely doesn’t interest you at all. However, if you’re a Persona 5 fan, Persona 5 Tactica will join the library on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This turn-based strategy spinoff features an all-new story with Persona 5’s iconic cast of characters, joined by new allies and foes. It plays more like the Mario + Rabbids game than XCOM and is plenty fun if you like strategy RPGs.

Next on the list is a favorite of ours, Green Hell on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It’s a crafting survival game set in the Amazonian rain forest with an interesting story and world to explore. If you’re a fan of games like The Forest, you’ll love Green Hell. For something entirely different, there’s Fate/Samurai Remnant on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The action RPG comes from Type-Moon and Koei Tecmo Games, set in the storied Fate universe. This entry centers around Miyamoto Iori, a young man in Asakusa who has been caught up in the violence of a Holy Grail War as the “Waxing Moon Ritual” unfolds in the shadows.ows.

Crow Country | Image: SFB Games

For something more casual, there’s Crow Country on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It comes from the same team behind Tangle Tower, a popular point-and-click murder mystery game. Crow Country gets a retro-inspired survival horror vibe, set in an abandoned theme park in 1990. Players take on the role of Mara Forest as she attempts to uncover why Edward Crow shut down the Crow Country theme park.

Another story-driven title for September is The Invincible on PlayStation 5. It focuses on an astrobiologist named Yasna, who ends up on the unexplored planet Regis III. What should have been a scientific journey becomes a search mission for lost crewmates. The Invincible features 11 possible endings to go with its philosophical story, giving players plenty of reasons to attempt multiple playthroughs.

The final title that’s available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers is Conscript on PlayStation 5. A survival horror game inspired by classics, Conscript is set in 1916 during the Great War, and players play as a French soldier searching for his missing-in-action brother during the Battle of Verdun. Styled with a unique pixel art aesthetic, Conscript’s gameplay involves item management, route planning, and solving environmental puzzles.

PlayStation Plus Premium members also get Legacy of Kain: Defiance on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as a faithful emulation of the classic PlayStation 2 title. This marks the first time Legacy of Kain: Defiance is playable on modern PlayStation consoles.
