PlayStation Plus has announced the Game Catalog lineup for January 2025, with all games playable starting from January 21. A total of nine titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, headlined by Santa Monica Studio’s God of War Ragnarök for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The sequel to 2018’s God of War continues the journey of Kratos and Atreus as the threat of Ragnarök grows closer. For those who have already experienced God of War Ragnarök, there’s Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Starring Kazuma Kiryu, this Like a Dragon title explores Osaka’s vibrant underworld as a mysterious figure tries to drive Kiryu out of hiding.
Next on the list is Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand, an action RPG on PlayStation 5. Reign of Sand is the ultimate version of Atlas Fallen, featuring an expanded world, new enemies and challenges, revamped progression, new quests, reworked voice acting, an additional difficulty model, and New Game+ modes. Another action RPG included in this month’s lineup is SD Gundam Battle Alliance for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This title features mobile suits and characters from across the Mobile Suit Gundam history as players lead a three-unit squadron. SD Gundam Battle Alliance can be experienced solo or with up to two other players in a three-person team.
A fantastic game that more people should experience is Sayonara Wild Hearts for PlayStation 4. It is described as a dreamy arcade game about riding motorcycles, skateboarding, dance battling, shooting lasers, wielding swords, and breaking hearts at 200 mph. For those who love rhythm games, Sayonara Wild Hearts is not one to miss. Another interesting title included in the Game Catalog January 2025 lineup is ANNO: Mutationem for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This action-adventure game has players in the shoes of Ann, a lone wolf on a personal mission in a 2D-meets-3D Cyberpunk world.
With Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap releasing on January 28, it makes sense that Orcs Must Die! 3 is joining the PlayStation Plus catalog on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This blend of shooter and tower defense is one of our favorite co-op franchises ever, and we can’t wait to play Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap later this month.
Rounding out this month’s lineup are Citizen Sleeper for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and Poker Club for PlayStation 4. The former is inspired by tabletop role-playing games and uses dice, clocks, and drives to deliver a sci-fi story-driven adventure. The latter places players in the life of a poker pro, where they can join a community of online players and participate in over 10 Texas Hold’em tournament modes.
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers also gain access to a couple of classic titles: Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and Medievil II for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings originally released in 2009 for PlayStation 2 and is a third-person adventure game, while Medievil II is a classic from the original PlayStation era released in 2000.
