During today’s State of Play, Sony confirmed the lineup for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for February 2025. All titles will be available starting on February 18, and the lineup is headlined by Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It’s the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, continuing the story of Cal Kestis in a third-person, action-adventure game. The single-player title takes place five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal as he heads to several new iconic Star Wars locations. In my review, I found the game a bit frustrating to play with all the bugs and glitches I ran into, but there have been several patches since. Still, I believe it’s the best Star Wars game we’ve had in years because I was really disappointed with Star Wars Outlaws.
If you’re more of a tennis fan than a Star Wars fan, there’s TopSpin 2K25 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 to look forward to. Featuring an array of tennis legends and player-creation options, TopSpin 2K25 offers a couple of ways to embark on a tennis journey with the World Tour or 2K Tour. The latest entry in the franchise also has an all-new Timing Meter to deliver pinpoint precision on the court, while the new Serve Mechanic challenges players to hit the perfect serve.
Fans of the original Life is Strange title can look forward to Don’t Nod’s next title, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. The first of two chapters, Tape 1, will set the story, which takes place in Michigan in 1995. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage stars four high school girls in a punk band who experience an unexplained event that will forever change their lives. Players will navigate between dual timelines to shape both narratives, one in 1995, and one in 2022. The second episode will be part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup in April, releasing on April 15.
Those wanting a JRPG can enjoy SaGa Frontier Remastered on PlayStation 4. The remaster includes improved graphics, new features, and a new main character. Other new features include an updated and improved UI and double-speed mode. For sci-fi enthusiasts, there’s Somerville available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This adventure game explores the repercussions of large-scale conflict as players experience the personal struggles of a young family that has been separated.
Next on the list is Tin Hearts for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Tin Hearts tells the emotional story of genius inventor Albert J. Butterworth through a series of over 50 lemmings-like puzzles set in a grand Victorian home. The final title in the February 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup is Mordhau for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This multiplayer medieval slasher features brutal battles with fast-paced combat, castle sieges, cavalry charges, and more.
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can look forward to enjoying Patapon 3 and Droship: United Peace Force, both on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Patapon 3, originally released on the PSP, is a rhythmic adventure game featuring over 80 quests, while Dropship: United Peace Force is a PS2 classic enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. It’s a combat flight simulation game featuring Stealth Fighters, Battle Tanks, and Armored Assault Vehicles.
