Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the new Beta Program at PlayStation initiative, a free-to-join program that will give users potential beta access to test participating games for the PlayStation 5 and PC, as well as new PlayStation 5 console features, PlayStation App features, and even new user experience features on PlayStation.com. Registration is opening globally starting today, and you can sign up here. The goal of the Beta Program at PlayStation is to provide players a centralized place to register their interest in future PlayStation betas. It’s a one-time signup to express interest in the various aforementioned betas, and participation is entirely optional for any beta.

There are some requirements, though. Players must have a valid account for PlayStation Network in good standing, with a current email address. Any account with restrictions or violations is not eligible for participation. Players must also reside in a region where the Beta Program at PlayStation is available, and they must meet the legal age requirement for their region.

As with most beta programs, registration does not guarantee selection for a particular beta test.
