From August 10 to August 14, Ubisoft is hosting the Assassin’s Creed Free Weekend, during which you can play five different Assassin’s Creed games for free. If you want to purchase any of them, you can also get up to a 75-percent discount. The five available games are Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, and Assassin’s Creed II.
But there’s a catch: the availability of each game depends on the platform. On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, all five games are available. On Ubisoft Connect, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla are available. On PlayStation, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available for free, while the Ezio Collection and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag are available through the PlayStation Extra subscription service. Only Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on Epic Games Store.
Those on Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store can play the game for free from August 10th at 4:00pm UTC until August 14th at 12:00pm UTC. On Xbox, gamers can play for free from August 10th at 5:00pm UTC until August 14th at 8:00am UTC. PlayStation owners can play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for free from August 10th at 6:00pm UTC until August 14th at 12:00pm UTC.
During the free weekend event, players will have access to the full-length solo campaigns in all available games. The progress does carry over if players decide to upgrade to the full games once the free weekend is over.
