Officially announced during Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Persona 5 Tactica released a character reveal trailer during Anime Expo 2023. The Atlus Presents: The Official Persona 5 Tactica Panel featured key voice actors from the upcoming game, including Leeanna Albanese as Erina, Matthew Mercer as Yusuke, Cherami Leigh as Makoto, and Xanthe Huynh as Haru.
The character spotlight trailer gives a bit of background for characters Joker, Morgana, and Erina, who is new to the franchise. We also get a look at the unique set of skills that these characters will bring to the battlefield against the Legionnaires.
The gameplay from the trailer also suggests that Persona 5 Tactica will play a lot like the Mario + Rabbids games on Nintendo Switch. It does appear players will be able to control three characters during a mission, with a guest character possibly as part of the mission itself — like a rescue objective.
We’ll learn more about Persona 5 Tactica in the coming months, as the game is set to release on November 17, 2023. It will be heading to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. It will also be a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass.
