Executive producer for the Street Fighter series, Yoshinori Ono, has tweeted that Capcom has no immediate plans to bring the popular fighting title Street Fighter IV and its future iterations to the Nintendo Wii U console.
It’s unfortunate for all those gamers that grew up playing Street Fighter II on the Super Nintendo won’t get to enjoy the latest version of the franchise. Recently, Capcom announced Ultra Street Fighter IV at EVO 2013, which will see the addition of Elena, Rolento, Hugo, Poison, and a fifth, unknown character to the franchise. USFIV will also be heading to PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
