Ahead of the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct on April 2, where we’ll learn more about the new console, a new Nintendo Direct focused on the current Switch will take place on March 27 at 7:00 AM Pacific (10:00 AM Eastern). This broadcast will feature around 30 minutes of upcoming games for Nintendo Switch, and it will likely be one of the last events focused solely on the Switch. Nintendo wanted to make it clear that tomorrow’s Direct will not have any updates about Nintendo Switch 2.
Currently, there are very few confirmed titles that have been revealed for the Switch. We know about Metroid Prime 4 and Pokémon Legends: Z-A, so this Nintendo Direct might hold a surprise or two to carry the Switch until its successor launches sometime this summer. Although Nintendo hasn’t confirmed the Switch 2’s release window, rumor has it that it’ll take place sometime this summer, and our sources have confirmed it’ll be before July. We’ll learn more on April 2.
