It was arguably Xbox’s biggest release of 2024, and now Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is heading to the PlayStation 5 on April 17, 2025. To make the announcement, the voice actor behind Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series, Nolan North, teamed up with Troy Baker, who did a brilliant job voicing Indiana Jones in the game. Both are well-known voice actors within the gaming community, and it’s always great to see them interacting with each other.
Originally launched on December 9 for Xbox and PC, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle comes from MachineGames, which falls under the ZeniMax umbrella that Microsoft owns. It’s another game that Xbox is releasing on PlayStation, signaling that it will no longer compete with console exclusivity, even among its first-party developers. Last year, the company started by porting other titles like Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded to different consoles. Another major exclusive heading to the PlayStation 5 is Forza Horizon 5 on April 29.
The release date is probably the biggest surprise, considering it comes just four months after Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launched on Xbox and PC. Those who pre-order the Premium Edition will get early access starting April 15.
