Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine is finally getting a sequel, as Monaco 2 launches on April 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For those who have never heard of Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine, it’s a heist game that can be played solo but is most fun with friends in a co-op setting. With the success of more co-op games in recent years, one could argue that the original Monaco was ahead of its time, considering it released in 2013.

Monaco 2 will continue that tradition but will feature an updated 3D art style and a procedurally generated level design system. Along with a structured campaign, there will be hundreds of seeded levels available for players to take on. If Monaco 2 manages to evolve the already great gameplay of the original, it has the makings of a successful co-op game. It will have eight playable characters to choose from, each with their own abilities and playstyles. There will even be the ability to change characters in the middle of a run if your team runs into an obstacle that is a better fit for a different character.
