Peter Molyneux’s Masters of Albion is heading into a closed beta playtest ahead of its April 22 launch, and the window to sign up is tight. Developer 22cans is accepting registrations through its official Discord, but the signup closes on Wednesday, March 25, at 11:00 AM Pacific (2:00 PM Eastern). That’s a 48-hour window, so if you’re interested, don’t sit on it.

Masters of Albion is a God Game from the designer behind Populous, Dungeon Keeper, Black & White, and the original Fable. The game blends strategy, simulation, and town management with real-time defense, giving players the power to design and build their version of Albion during the day while defending against waves of creatures at night. As someone who grew up on Molyneux’s games, I’m cautiously optimistic, especially with veterans from Dungeon Keeper and Black & White on the team. The game is available to wishlist on Steam now.
