Insomniac Games’ upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has gone gold, which means development is complete and the game is now ready for mass production. The news was shared on social media with a short statement from Insomniac Games:

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has officially GONE GOLD!

We’re thrilled to share this milestone achievement with our studio and collaborators at PlayStation and Marvel Games, and with our incredible community around the world.

We can’t wait for you to experience what we’ve been cooking up on October 20th!

Along with the announcement, Insomniac Games shared a video featuring the game’s cast, which includes Nadji Jeter as Miles Morales, Yuri Lowenthal as Peter Parker, Laura Bailey as Mary Jane Watson, and Tony Todd as Venom.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases on October 20, 2023 exclusively on the PlayStation 5.
