Last December, Insomniac Games confirmed the New Game+ update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would be delayed until 2024. Now, we have an official release date: March 7. In a brief post on social media, the developer announced that the next title update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will also add new suits and more. We’ll have to stay tuned to receive an official list of what that “more” entails. However, when announcing the delay, Insomniac Games mentioned that some of the highly requested features include the ability to change the time of day, swap tendril colors, and replay missions.

In my Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 review, I said the game was a very safe, but competent sequel. I wished Insomniac Games had taken a few risks to add more to the formula instead of it feeling like a more polished version of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
