Square Enix won’t stop releasing videos and images for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, so if you’re not sick of them, here’s some more. Yesterday, we saw that Lightning will be having her own FATE in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, which will allow players of the MMORPG to get their hands on a vanity costume of our heroine. In return, Lightning will have her own Miqo’te outfit for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. That’s right, Lightning’s going all kitty on us. What’s even better is that Lightning will get her choice of weapons and shields sporting the emblems from each of the Grand Companies in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn – Gridania, Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa.

Now if only Square Enix would give us the opportunity to mash up a whole lot of outfits together to build the ultimate fan-service Lightning. I mean, who wouldn’t want a Lightning in Aerith’s outfit with Miqo’te ears and tail while yielding Yuna’s Summoner Staff?

We get it Square Enix, you have a lot of Final Fantasy games and you really would like for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII to sell some copies. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be released on February 11, 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. You can view the game’s opening cinematic here.
