The latest iteration of the Steam Controller has been revealed, which was originally announced during the Steam Dev Days. The latest version of the Steam Controller has refined the ergonomic aspects of the controller, adding two diamond-patterned button layouts in lieu of the original touch screen display. The analog buttons will be in addition to the touch pads featured in the original Steam Controller prototype.
The newest Steam Controller will be on display at this year’s GDC in Valve’s booth and attendees will be able to test them first hand while Valve will be gathering feedback. The latest Steam Controller prototype incorporates much of the testing feedback the company has received since it sent out its beta Steam Machines and controllers late last year.
