The developers behind Last Epoch, Eleventh Hour Games, have confirmed they are joining Krafton, the publisher behind PUBG. The name Krafton has been circulating within the gaming news world over the past few weeks because of the drama surrounding Subnautica 2, but it is also the same company that recently saved Tango Gameworks after Microsoft shuttered the studio last year. Eleventh Hour Games founder Judd Cobler shared the news in an official forum post, stating that Krafton will help fuel the team’s efforts to raise Last Epoch to new heights. Cobler said the decision to partner with Krafton came after speaking with dozens of potential strategic partners, and he believes Krafton has clearly demonstrated it is aligned with helping Eleventh Hour Games achieve its goals.
For those who have followed the development of Last Epoch, you’ll know the game started off as a passion project before a successful Kickstarter campaign. After spending years in Early Access, Last Epoch officially launched in early 2024 and has continued to improve since then. We spent time with the ARPG during Early Access and really enjoyed the experience, but we haven’t had the opportunity to return to it since launch. For those looking for an action RPG, though, to scratch that Diablo itch, we highly recommend checking out Last Epoch. Hopefully, teaming up with Krafton will mean good things for Eleventh Hour Games.
