As the Nintendo Wii U continues to struggle in sales, the company has launched a series of new bundles heading to Japan. The first Wii U bundle, which is available in white or black, includes a 32 GB Wii U system, New Super Marios Bros. U, Wii Party U, a sensor bar, a color-matched Wiimote Plus and 30 days of Karoake service. The second Wii U bundle, also available in white or black, throws in a copy of Wii Fit U and a Fit Meter to the previously mentioned bundle. It’s worth noting that the second bundle does not include a Balance Board, so it’s a safe assumption that Nintendo is trying to attract previous Wii owners to its newer console.
The systems will all ship with the software pre-installed, so there won’t be any downloading necessary, though it does wipe out a good chunk of the system’s limited 32 GB space. Both bundles will be available in Japan on October 31, 2013 with the first Wii U bundle priced at 32,800 yen and the second at 34,800 yen.
It’s not clear whether these Wii U bundles will be heading to America, though Japan didn’t get the fancy Wind Waker HD bundle that the U.S. got.
