Insomniac Games has applied for a trademark for “Bad Dinos,” perhaps hinting at a future franchise.

According to the trademark application, it was filed on July 29, 2013 and the application covers “Entertainment services, namely, providing online video games.” Unfortunately, no other details have been released regarding Bad Dinos, but if it features dinoaurs and it’s from Insomniac Games, we’ll be anxiously awaiting news.

Insomniac Games is best known for developing the Spyro the Dragon series, the Resistance series, and the Ratchet and Clank series. The company’s latest release was Fuse for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is currently working on the upcoming Sunset Overdrive for the Xbox One and the new Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus.

Hopefully more information Bad Dinos will be coming in the near future. Dinosaurs and Insomniac Games sounds like a fantastic combination, considering how great the Spyro the Dragon series is.
