Billed as an extreme trick and graffiti game from a bright future, Hyperfunk sees various graffiti crews competing in reality, with style and ideology. Players will use their skates, skateboards, or BMX bikes to do tricks, fueling their personal boostpack. The higher the combo score, the faster the player can boost. While Team Reptile only had a teaser trailer to share today, it appears that Hyperfunk will take Bomb Rush Cyberfunk’s unmistakable style to a whole new level.

Along with the teaser trailer, the game’s official Steam page shares some details. Hyperfunk will feature Dynamic Style Wars, where crews can take over areas and compete with others. Players can challenge other crews to a graffiti battle, competing in real time to see who can bomb the streets best, all while escaping police and claiming the area as their own. The game includes four types of graffiti—Tags, Throwies, Pieces, and Blockbusters—and players can freely roam the city to grow their crew, find music tracks, and unlock other move styles.

Unfortunately, no release date or release window for Hyperfunk has been announced yet.
