Hot Tin Roof is now on Kickstarter, being developed by indie developer Glass Bottom Games. Enter a noir mystery as Emma Jones, taking on the role of private investigator on a string of grisly murders. Search for clues in a 3D side-scrolling world while being accompanied by your faithful feline sidekick, Franky. The game will feature a wide range of cartridges for your revolver including grapple shot, blood splatters, trackers, knockbacks, and more. As Glass Bottom Games explains it, Hot Tin Roof is “Metroidvania-esque,” just with more of the Metroid and less of the vania. Besides, it has a cat that wears a fedora, who doesn’t love a cat that wears a fedora?
You can check out the Hot Tin Roof Kickstarter to support the great folks at Glass Bottom Games. The title is currently being developed for PC, Mac, and Linux, but the team hopes to bring it to PlayStation 4, Apple iOS, and Google Android… and maybe the Nintendo Wii U.
