Raise your hand if your 2025 Bingo card had Eminem showing up in Hitman World of Assassination. During today’s Xbox Partner Preview event, IO Interactive shared the next Elusive Target for Agent 47: Eminem’s alter ego, Slim Shady. That’s right, the hip-hop superstar appears in Hitman World of Assassination throughout the month of December, with Eminem teaming up with Agent 47 to take down Slim Shady. Eminem will serve as a fellow operative in this team-up, helping Agent 47 untangle the twisted mind of Slim Shady. It all ties into Eminem’s latest album, titled “The Death of Slim Shady,” in which he tries to put his unhinged other self away.
The upcoming level is filled with psychological, dreamlike twists based on Slim Shady’s fractured reality. It’s set in a medical facility in Hokkaido, which has been reconfigured into the chaotic Popsomp Hills Asylum. Slim Shady has transformed his former operating theater into a broadcasting studio, delivering erratic live performances to an audience of staff and inmates. If you’re an Eminem fan, the mission is packed full of references to his work, including a poisoned Spaghetti Sandwich and a haunting performance of Houdini.
Along with the new mission, IO Interactive is releasing the Eminem vs. Slim Shady Pack, which includes a new suit, four items, and home-base cosmetics tied to the mission. The pack will be available for $4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99 from December 1 through December 31.
